Hidden within the hotel, Hamer's Speakeasy is styled and named after the legendary Texas Ranger Frank Hamer, a Navasota local who gained the national spotlight for leading the posse that killed Bonnie & Clyde Barrow. The lounge area offers a relaxing atmosphere as well as a bit of history on Mr. Hamer and the infamous couple. How you find your way there, be it by catwalk, a hidden stairway, an antique elevator, or the private entrance, is up to you. Look for Dr. Wilson's office. Enjoy a drink and some culinary bites in the speakeasy that's so charming, it should be illegal.
